PSoM, either Pico System On Module, or Puma System On Module for those who prefer
Welcome to my curated collection of hardware design projects focused on practical, compact, and beginner-to-intermediate level printed circuit board (PCB) designs. These projects were originally built to improve my skills in circuit design, PCB layout, power electronics, and embedded systems.
Open Source hardware and software for a Raspberry Pi Pico W Solid State Relay Controller
Regulation circuit mainboard of the Field Emission Array Regulation (FEAR) system with up to 16 channels.
Official firmware for the Wavelet Mini, Regular, and Max smart speakers built on the ESP32 platform.
KiCAD Files for all WINTER (Wireless Inertial iNformation and Telemetry for Energetics Regulation) flight computer
KiCAD Files for all WINTER (Wireless Inertial iNformation and Telemetry for Energetics Regulation) flight computer
A compact multi-sensor breakout board combining three high-performance sensors on a single PCB with a shared SPI bus, onboard power regulation, and dual JST-GH connectors.
4-layer ESP32-C3 WROOM development board with USB-C, ESD protection, LDO regulation and differential pair routing — designed in KiCad
This is a project Pioneered by the Arizona State University MakerSpace workers, J. Travis Daniel, Gehrig Dixon, and Liam Nelson. The goal is to make an egg drop experiment that is more sustainable than the regular use of this experiment in physics classrooms today. This is being done by replacing regular edible egss with electronic sensor packages designed to look like an egg.
